Bulanglang Bulanglang Filipino Recipe Ingredients: 1/4 pound lean pork (sliced small pieces) 2 eggplant; sliced 15 pieces green beans 2 cups sliced squash or calabaza 2 sliced tomatoes; 1 ampalaya (bittermelon); sliced slanting 10 okra 3 cloves of garlic, thinly sliced 1 onion, sliced 3 tbsp bagoong na alamang (shrimp paste) salt and pepper to taste 1 ginger 1 cup of water cooking oil Bulanglang Cooking Direction: 1. Sautee' together the garlic, onion and ginger; 2. Add the bagoong, continue to sautee'; 3. Add water and bring to boil; 4. Add the green beans, calabaza or squash; bring it to boil; 5. After 3 minutes add the okra, ampalaya and the talong; 6. Add more water if needed; 7. Add salt and pepper to taste; 8. Serve with white rice and maybe with fried galunggong!
